Wise People and Their Considerations

The great strategist in ancient China, Sun Tsi, said: “A wise man’s consideration must involve benefit or harm. When it concerns benefit, it will lead to credible practice; when it focuses on harm, it will result in solution to problems.” In the face of many problems caused by eternal living, such as population explosion, an aging society, unemployment, grain shortage, energy source, other resources and so on, what is to be done? How can we give solutions to harm?

 Mankind does not need a superficial optimism，but needs a profound optimism; we do not need a foolish way of thinking characterized by “Either this or that”，but need a way of thinking that considers both benefit and harm, so as to solve any problem.
